Heidi Diaz - You Have Been Served!

It's official!

Heidi Diaz (and Brandon Diaz) have been served! Heidi is due to appear before the court on November 1st and Brandon is due to appear on November 2nd.

Now we wait and see if she actually shows up or thinks she can just ignore it and it will go away - as was her theory about ignoring all the "haters" and "Negative Nancies". Heh.

Fitness Guru Gone!

After wondering why Fitness Guru hadn't been posting after his last comment that no diet should ever go lower than 1200 calories, which is completely NOT Kimkins... we did a bit of research with some help.

We finally received an email from Nick Clark, aka Fitness Guru stating that he is no longer associated with Kimkins.com.

The email did not contain any information about why or if he has been banned.

Now to convince "Dr." Mark to take a leaf from Fitness Guru's book.

Very interesting!!!!!! I hope he will explain the details of his departure!

Did Heidi fire him? Then of course as we all suspected, the "new ownership" thing was just another lie.

Or did TIPPY ban him?

Or did he choose of his own free will to quit?

Or did his company demand that he choose between his day job and his Kimkins job?

Sure, the bizarro mystery of Fitness Guru pales in comparison to the exponentially bizzaro-er mystery of Heidi herself.

But while we're waiting for the feds to shut down the Kimpire and waiting for the courts to shut down Heidi, these submysteries do serve to further emphasize the really astounding extent to which Heidi's scam has affected so many lives -- from a singing Mormon psychic in Oregon, to a quack acupuncturist in Florida, to thousands of desperately dieting women across America, to young men in Malaysia hired to pretend to be hyperactive overachieving Kimkinoids, to Russian mail order brides!

The world of The Kimmer is a wild, wild world indeed!

These comments about the physician in Florida are slanderous and irresponsible. Your group has attacked him without knowing ONE THING about him or his scope of practice. Shame on you.

Kimkins Dangers said...

Anonymous, it's not slander if it's TRUE. If you re-read the post, we checked with the Florida State Department of Health on his current licensing! HE IS NOT a Primary Care Physician! He is an acupuncturist! That does NOT give him the required medical background to be giving out diet advice! Hello? What exactly do you not get about that?

Kimkins Class Action Lawsuit Filed!

As revealed by KTLA news last night, the class-action lawsuit against Heidi Diaz / Kimmer / Kimkins has been filed! Heidi Diaz is due to appear in court on November 1st to give her sworn deposition in answer to the complaint filed by the plaintiffs.

We've read the entire complaint and it is very long and very thorough - including information about the Russian Brides photos as discovered by the gals at LCF, the baseless medical claims made by "Kimmer" and other instances of fraud.

So, who's up for a road trip? :D

A complaint was just filed, and they've already got a discovery order approved for a November 1 deposition? Are you sure? Things don't move that fast in California courts.

Kimkins Dangers said...

Yep, we're sure! We've read and reviewed PDF files of the complaint and other processes. All are available online from the Riverside County court system.

Mimi said...

There's something in the document about "fast track" -- I'm lost when it comes to courtspeak but hopefully "fast track" would seem to imply that a speeding up of the process has been ordered from the bench (?)

Yipee!! Let's hope she actually shows up. She is such a liar, she will have no credibility with the judge at all. Fraud is written all over her in big letters, no less..And SHE did it to herself!!!

Pray for justice!!!! which would be
500 calories a day for at least a year!!! in jail..with no exercise.

I don't see "November 1" in the online information about the case. It's only on the TV report.

"Anonymous" - that information came from several sources, including the lawyer handling the case. Verify it with them if you wish :)

The Rise and Fall of the Kimkins Diet

The website, CalorieLab has posted it's review of the Kimkins plan. Below is an excerpt of the article:

The Web site for the Kimkins Diet boasts that there is “no faster diet” and that people lose weight without exercise, special foods, diet pills or supplements.

The site describes the diet as a low carb, low calorie plan that allows users to lose up to 5 percent of their body weight in 10 days. The diet came to national attention after being featured on the cover of Woman’s World magazine in June, with a story that called the diet “better than gastric bypass” and told of the success of a woman who had lost 100 pounds in five months.

The trouble is, the whole diet plan was a scam.

Bay News 9 in Tampa Needs Info!

From ALC:

Reporter Michelle Kay, at Bay News 9 in Tampa, Florida, is interested in doing an expose' of the Kimkins.com fundraising scam.

Note: "interested in" ... not "committed to" ... 'cause she needs some PROOF before she can commit to doing the story.

She's looking for:

1. victims of the scam (meaning, people who were kind-hearted enough to actually donate money) who are willing to be interviewed on camera

2. screen shots (not copy/pastes) of actual posts, pm's, and/or emails written by Jeannie S. Baitinger a.k.a. "Tippy Toes" which prove that:
a) Jeannie was in charge of the "Kimmer's Kids" fundraiser
b) Jeannie is still in charge of fundraising activities ("for charity") at Kimkins.com

We were trying our best to keep this quiet and word behind the scenes, but a week now has passed and so far no one has come forward. Perhaps too much time has passed already, and if so, there's no sense in trying to interest the media in this aspect of the whole Kimmer/Kimkins thing.

When speaking of this matter, everyone please remember to stick to the facts only, those being:

The California State Ombundsman's Office says there weren't any foster children at the time of the fundraisers -- and the Community Care Licensing office (Virna Wright, contact person) says it's illegal for anyone to take donations for foster children, real OR fake, by actively raising those funds and/or accepting those funds. Jeannie S. Baitinger of Zephyrhills Florida ("TippyToes" or "Tippy") spearheaded the Kimmer's Kids fundraisers, and the money was sent to Heidi K. Diaz of Corona California ("Kimmer"). These are the facts. They are not allegations and they are not libel.

We hope for an official investigation into this matter, and if crimes have been committed, we hope for justice to be done.

Kimkins Disaster on Myspace

Another Kimkins blog was found on myspace by an LCF poster. We wanted to include it here!

You can view the page here and an excerpt is below.

Heidi’s world has since come crashing down on. In the past several weeks alone, there has been a coup of sorts, amidst accusations of her diet making people sick. (A former member of the Kimkins team who was featured in Woman’s World magazine tells of her experience).

That’s just the beginning. As the story begins to unravel, sources have also determined that “Kimmer” had lied about losing the extraordinary amount of weight (see recent photo here), had taken up a collection for foster children she did not have and posted phony success stories (in addition to her own).

Kimkins Dr. Mark Is Paid Staff

From TippyToes aka Jeannie Baitinger, Kimkins PR director:

Re:Kimmer question 2 Hours, 14 Minutes ago

OK. Dr. Mark has listed his credentuals in the health and wellness threads. He has been brought in as a staff member to help answer questions in his field for members. We feel his presence is quite valuable to the website and we are thrilled to have him here. However, Dr. Mark should not be used as a substitute for your own Physician.

I do not know details of the Kimkins.com transaction. As far as the new owners they have chosen not to announce themselves as of yet. We have been told the site would operate as normal and there are no indications we will close. Nothing more, nothing less.

The only changes being made to the site are positive additions (such as Dr. Mark and the fitness guru) so there is really nothing more to announce at this time.

This member and another who agreed with this member about needing more info were told they have new PMs. Neither heard from since.

The only field that "Dr." Mark is qualified to answer questions in, is acupuncture. To the best of our knowledge, none of the Kimkins plans require acupuncture services.

Tippy - go write "credentials" 100 times please. And next time you feel the need to give more ridiculous updates and advice, I suggest writing your post in a program that has an automatic spell check first and then paste it over. Seriously honey, you only make yourself sound more absurd by not promoting with at least a degree of professionalism such as good spelling.

Anonymous said...

The doctor may be seriously reconsidering his involvement. He denied being on staff, and then HE asked a question - because there were so many people already offering good advice, ARE THEY SURE THEY EVEN NEEDED HIM? He was warned, but likely never expected the intense scrutiny he has received. Now maybe he's withdrawing.

Kimkins Dr. Mark on Gallbladders

"Dr." Mark posted an answer to a question about gallbladders which has us scratching our heads. He apparently does not know what the gallbladder is or how it works, yet attempts to issue a statement as if he is an expert, or even, *gasp*, a doctor.

His response:

Re:Gall Bladder question 3 Hours, 43 Minutes ago
GB - keep it if you can. Sorry if it is already out.

The truth about the GB.

The GB is mearly a storage sac for bile. I has a small duct that opens to the first part of the intestines after the stomach.

Bile is a substance produced by the Liver that emulisifies fat. (dawn dish washing liquid takes grease out of your way)

FAT TY foods leave the stomach and it gets the message to send out a squirt...bigger the fat...bigger the squirt.

Emulisification breaks up the fat into very small particals which the small intestine can easily digest.

When the gall bladder is removed, the "in tube" is connected to the "out tube" and now you have a slow drip of bile constantly as produced.

WHAT THE HOSPITAL DOESNT TELL YOU THAT I COULD SHOOT THEM FOR.

After this surgery you will never _meta_bolize large quantities of fat well. You have to change your diet or indigestion and loose stool will follow every high fat meal. Your GB can no longer "squirt" for those larger quantities.

GBs don't get screwed up from too litte use, rather too much. Glands - all glands for the most part, like to hang out full until called upon (they are quite lazy) and when worked, they just like to work for a little while, then fill back up and go to sleep.

Lower fat diet (that fits here) and digestive enzymes with fatty foods will help.

Dr. Mark"

The problem with his statement is hopefully obvious to those he is attending.. but if it is not, read on....

The gallbladder is an ORGAN
The thyroid is a GLAND (Mark previously referred to the thyroid as an organ)

and No, "Dr" Mark they are NOT interchangeable terms!

Gallbladder

(Science: anatomy) a digestive organ which stores bile (produced in the liver), used in the digestion and absorption of fats in the duodenum. a muscular sac attached to the liver that secretes bile and stores it until needed for digestion.

Thyroid

A butterfly-shaped endocrine gland in the neck that is found on both sides of the trachea (windpipe). It secretes the hormone thyroxine which controls the rate of metabolism.

For more information about gallbladders, read HERE.

Much worse than making false claims about ones weight loss, giving inaccurate medical advice can kill people (faster). This madness must end.

You know this is very scarey. I have had my gallbladder removed and I have no trouble eating fatty foods.

I love his "scientific" descriptions on things. It's unbelievably inaccurate and very scarey.

He should have a warning label on all his advice. Don't take it!!!

GillianIvy said...

Since my gall bladder surgery, I seem to have an intolerance for dairy. I have horrible painful gas followed by diarrhea-type waste immediately after nearly every meal. I've minimized my dairy to see if that helps. It really has, now I only need to establish how much dairy is acceptable for me. I had already tried not eating fatty foods, which didn't work. Now, it seems, I can eat fatty foods but no dairy. What he's describing is LACTOSE intolerance. Sure, I stay away from the really greasy stuff now, that stuff gave me gas any way.

Don't know how I missed this! Maybe someone should ask him how he explains this: http://www.apinchofhealth.com/resources/lowcarb/VLCD-Gallstones.html

Kimkins Dr. Mark Not A Primary Care Physician

"Dr." Mark at Kimkins, also known as Mark Brinson refers to himself as a Primary Care Physician. The licensure department for the Florida Department of Health responded to an inquiry of Mark Brinson's use of the term "Primary Care Physician" as follows below:

Please be advised that the phrase "Primary Care Physician" is not located in the Florida Laws and Rules that govern Acupuncture scope of practice. However, the below language does outline the language "primary health care provider".
457.102 Definitions.--As used in this chapter:

(2) "Acupuncturist" means any person licensed as provided in this chapter to practice acupuncture as a primary health care provider.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
We strongly urge all Kimkins members to carefully research any "medical advice" given by "Dr." Mark for two reasons.

First, questions surrounding his claims of licensing have shown that he has used exaggerated claims, both within Kimkins and on his own websites, of his license status and title.

Second, please do not ever take medical advice from a person who admittedly eschews medical books and does not know the difference between an organ and a gland. YOUR health could be at risk, this is not a game of Russian Roulette (no pun intended).

"Love To Know" Reviews Kimkins

The Love To Know website has reviewed the Kimkins diet plan - take a look at THIS ARTICLE. Below is an excerpt.

Brief History of the Kimkins Plan

"Kimkins" is named after "Kimmer", the user name of a weight loss forum visitor. Kimmer shared her weight loss experience in the forum, chronicling her successes and her failures. When she reported a drastic weight loss-- 160 pounds in seven months-- she developed almost a cult following. Fellow forum posters wanted to know how she did it, so Kimmer painstakingly answered questions and offered advice, and others lost dramatically, too! Soon Kimmer took her weight loss plan to the masses, creating a website and appearing in Woman's World magazine.

Who Is Kimmer?

The exact identity of Kimmer remains a mystery. Woman's World magazine identified her as Kim Drake, but websites have named her as Heidi Diaz. Kimmer herself has never offered her name, neither on the message boards or her own website, but she has given some information about her identity:

  • She is a lifetime dieter, learning by research and trial-and-error rather than medical school
  • She is a former welfare mom
  • She is a California housewife

New developments: it has recently been proven by a private investigator that Kimmer is Heidi Diaz and that she is still overweight. Further, the pictures used on her site as testimonials have been found on Russian mail-order sites. The before and afters are fake.

Jimmy Moore's New Podcast Show

Listen to the podcast and leave your comments HERE.

In today's podcast show, Jimmy Moore highlights excerpts from his interview with Heidi Diaz, aka Kimmer, and points out the numerous lies and half-truths spoken in Heidi's own words, and her own voice.

At the end of the podcast, the audio of a phone call, made by Jimmy to Heidi's phone number (the same one used during the previous "Kimmer" interviews), reveals the same voice heard on the first interview as well as the KTLA news segment where Heidi comments "I have no comment" before jumping into her car.

Anyone still involved with Kimkins needs to listen to this episode, especially those putting their reputations, licenses and professional careers on the line to make a quick buck from the scam website.

Kimkins Fitness Guru Identified

Kimkins new "FitGuru" is Nick Clark.

Left in our comments -

If it is helpful...I have a website where you can get all of these items for a discounted price. www.nickclarkfitness.com. If you want to order from my website, email me at clarkuab9@hotmail.comThis e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and I can give you specific item # which will fit you best.

Let's look at Nick Clark's website! Nick Clark Fitness features fitness gear and equipment, a members only area and short bio that contains Nick's credentials.

Fitness Title
  • Certified Personal Trainer
Certification
  • NASM, AFAA
Degree
  • Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science
Specialty
  • Functional Training, Sport-Specific, Corrective Exercise Techniques

Is Nick more qualified for his title at Kimkins than "Dr." Mark Brinson? Take this into consideration:

AFAA personal trainer certification can be obtained with a THREE DAY course

from their website

WHAT IS IT?
A three-day certification workshop including lectures, practical demonstrations and written and practical exams. Although this course will help prepare you for both AFAA's Personal Fitness Trainer Certification and the Personal Fitness Trainer National Boards, successful completion of the course does not guarantee you will pass either examination. The curriculum includes:

Anatomy and kinesiology
Fitness assessment testing procedures (3-minute Step test, sit-and-reach, push-up, abdominal crunch, body composition screening with skin-fold caliper measurement)
Nutrition fundamentals and weight management
Special populations and medical considerations
Listening, leadership and motivational skills
Exercise programming in the weight room
Wellness programming and screening guidelines
WHO IS IT FOR?

For the aspiring and experienced fitness professional working one-on-one with exercise clients.

Early registration and pre-study is required.
Weightroom/weight training experience is strongly recommended.
WHAT DOES IT COST?

The workshop fee is $459* (less a 10% discount for current AFAA members). This fee includes:

3-day Certification Workshop
Personal Fitness Trainer Certification Study Guide
One-year AFAA membership ($68 value) or membership extension to current members and a subscription to American Fitness magazine (does not include postage to addresses outside the U.S.)
AFAA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer certificate and I.D. card (upon successful completion of both written and practical examinations) CPR certification required before certificate is issued.

Trying to bolster his own business from the Kimkins members on top of promoting (aiding and abetting?) the Kimkins fraud. Not good. We hope that Nick is simply not aware of the fraud and agreed to work for Kimkins without knowingly ignoring the facts of the matter. It is hard to believe that any professional in any field would sign on to an internet scam business simply to earn a few bucks, but........

We shall see.

I do think he's just an ambitious guy who saw an opportunity with the Kimkins thing. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt unless he shows his hand. He probably is eager to sell a lot of fitness stuff. :D

FL State Health Board on Dr. Mark Brinson

Received in Email -

Okay I just got off the phone with somebody at the Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee, Medical Quality Assurance Service, who says Dr. Mark is an acupuncturist. Period. She then handed me over to the Florida Board of Acupunture (or Acupuncturists ... whatever)
They confirmed that Dr. Mark Brinson is licensed to practice acupuncture.
He is NOT licensed to practice anything else at this time including massage therapy.
However, under something called "scope of practice" Dr. Mark is allowed to engage in "nutritional counseling."

Dr. Mark Brinson

Dr. Mark Brinson doesn't seem to know what he's gotten himself into, nor does he seem to understand the first thing about the Kimkins diet plans or its founder, Heidi Diaz. He needs to be educated. :)

Here is a post that was left in our comments, highlighted here to make it easier to find. Thanks to Laura for sharing this!

UPDATE - apparently this response is some sort of pre-written letter that was sent to everyone that contacted him regarding his involvement with Kimkins.

I just received a response to my inquiry.

Subject: It is me

Well,
I must say that I never expected such a quick and strange response to my postings on kimkins web site.

I only know of Kimkins what I have read from the site itself, as of four days ago. It seems as though it is a carb restrictive plan that is meant to be temporary and allows for unlimited protien....therefore not restricting calories. Seems like a decent plan to me, especially for the morbidly obese. People 50 lbs or more overweight are in a serious, life threatening condition that should be treated with urgency.

Is is what I give my patients, no. I do metabolic typing that is much more specific and personal.

My role, as I see it, in the Kimkins site is not to defend the site or the diet. It is to help people along the path with questions they may have about side effects and implementing "life" into their new program.

Again, I am not aware of the programs past, only the present things I "see" while online. I am in the profession to help as many people as possible and have always been known for that. I have seen Kimkins forum as another means of accomplishing this goal.

I assure you, as with everything else in my career, I will look into the diet more extensively. I will look into the integrity of the organization. I will try to descern if "mistakes" have been made and they are moving forward........Basically, if their heart is in the right place (not talking about anatomically here).

I appreciate your concerns. Please realize that I too, care for my patients, and the weight loss community with all my being. I just want to help people get the answers and results they deserve.

Mark

Does someone have screenshots of Dr. Mark's website? I swear it was changed yesterday. Originally he said he WAS a certified personal trainer, and NOW his website says he is working towards it. Yet his bio in several places all state he STARTED as a personal trainer and THEN became the acupuncturist, etc. PLUS, the cosmetology site he is affiliated with blatently lists him as a LMT (and his license is revoked) and it also states he IS a personal trainer, yet like I said, his website states NOW that he is "working towards it" and I swear originally it was just CHEK and now also NSCC (which I am still trying to find!)

Possible Dr. Mark

http://naturalseminars.com/Bio.html

Oddly, this one lives in FL, not far from TippyToes aka Jeannie Baitinger.

Mark T. Brinson
Dr. Brinson has more than 18 years experience in the field of manual medicine and human performance.

He started as a personal trainer, then massage therapist specializing in pain and injury rehabilitation. From there he spent many years as director of rehabilitation then finished up his Bachelors requirements to go back to school for Traditional Chinese Medicine. In January of 2000 he graduated his 4 year program as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine.
And he seems to work here too: http://www.lorainesacademy.net/courses/staff.htm

Here is his myspace account - http://www.myspace.com/hottestseminars

Not a lot of info there, but one little nugget that stands out is a photo in the pictures section with the caption "S and M". Makes us wonder if he's not friends with good ole' tarvos{K}.

His licensing information can be read at THIS WEBSITE.

We will attempt to contact Mark Brinson and find out whether or not he is the Kimkins Dr. Mark. If anyone reaches him first, please let us know! :)

More info on Dr Mark 10/8/07

From the incredible detectives at LCF -First, a post from Dr. Mark himself:
"Hello again all,Went to post graduate at The Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Medically related bachelors or Pre-med required (I think premed is now required nationally)Four year 3000 hour program plus internships.Covered all Eastern and Western medical departmentsPrimary care physician licenseDoes not cover pre_script_ion drugs and surgery.Amazing education....glad I went. Regarding Dr. Mark...
Okay, so we enter my area of expertise...I work in higher education and have for the past 9 years..First of all, accoding to the US Dept of Education, Florida Institue of Traditional Chinese Medicine is not accredited.Any school not accredited by the US Department of Education's regional accreditation agencies will not be able to produce a degree that qualifies a student for a PCP (Primary Care Physician) license in any state in the United States.Secondly, the accrediting body ACAOM (which is not part of the US Department of Education, meaning the schools that it does accredit are normally the kind that you see advertised on TV that offer a high school diploma, medical billing diploma, technical specialist diploma, etc, withdrew its accreditation of the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine back in 2002.* Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine"Master of Chinese Medicine" programSt. Petersburg , FL 33709Candidacy : 05/95 ; Accredited : 11/99Last Review : Fall/02IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine's (FITCM) accreditation status was withdrawn effective November 18, 2002 . The school has entered into a "teach out" agreement with East West College of Natural Medicine ( Sarasota , FL ) where FITCM students are completing their trainingSo, everything Dr. Mark says amounts to jack squat. So says me.
Emailed to us from a reader:
LOL That ""Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine" which the alleged Dr. Mark is alleged to have graduated from, was stripped of it accreditation in 2002 ... note the numerous lawsuits :)
http://tinyurl.com/2be6dj
www.acupuncturetoday.com/archives2002/sep/09northwest.html). A third school, the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, also had its accreditation withdrawn by ACAOM on Nov. 18, but was still operational at press time.
I'm still checking to make sure but if this guy is really a doctor and is employed by Heidi, it's probably this guy:
Mark Dedrick, Acupuncture Physician, OMD
3107 Spring Glen Rd, Suite 201Jacksonville, FL 32207Phone: 904-742-2967Email: Acuphys1@CS.com
http://ourworld-top.cs.com/acuphys1/myhomepage/business.html
Or maybe this other guy, but the first guy (Mark Dedrick) "sounds" more like somebody who would work for Heidi :)
Mark E. Keyes, Acupuncture Physician, OMDQuantum Reality Healing1727 N. Atlantic AveCocoa Beach, Florida 32931
So, according to what's been discovered already, seems that the so-called expert hired (or otherwise blackmailed into service) by Heidi Diaz is not.. an expert after all. SURPRISE!

According to http://www.acupuncture.ca.gov/enforcement/prof_titles.htm"Please be advised that Attorney General Opinion No. 87-103, dated March 3, 1988, concluded that a licensed acupuncturist MAY NOT use the initials "O.M.D." or the title "Oriental Medical Doctor" or "D.O.M." and the title "Doctor Oriental Medicine" without the inclusion of more information (L.Ac. or C.A.) , in advertising an acupuncture practice."So BOTH of these DR Mark guys seem to be avoiding this ruling. Interesting about the Cocoa Beah and Jacksonville locations, since he said he is in Tampa Bay/St. Pete, so wonder if he used to be there - or these are not him? Yes, I recall that there was a similar facility in St. Petersburg was in a very sleazy area. It would appear to be highly questionable as to anything reputable being associated with that! Are they still there? I don't live there anymore, so wonder if somebody can get a pic or make a personal visit? And what ever happened to DANIELLE of kimkins Admin who came in for less than a month now and suddenly dropped off posting or replying?! On the site, now her photo has changed to unquestionably ANOTHER VERY DIFFERENT person! Not even a shred of similarity, completely different! Does somebody else step in and just assume her name (if Danielle Hauck, was it?, is a real name or person, anyway)and then they replace with another photo that certainly looks like a rather non-candid shot from another source (advertising? a young girl in a workout setting?)Hmmm...Danielle's style of replies also went from blundering in and asking questions that were rather ignornant, then changed to seem distinctly as if coming from another person with another style of having more knowledge - on some level. Very obvious to even a casual observer!Hmmm...

Google Kimkins.

Note the sidebar of the window. The Skinny on Diets site is still listed in the ads, but the rest of them are gone!

Could this be the result of the letter writing campaign to Google Ads? We're not sure, but we hope so!

If you have any information about this, please leave it in a comment so we can update this post!

Who is Dr. Mark? 0 Minutes ago
Dr. Mark is a Holistic Physician specializing in pain and injury rehabilitation and human performance. His journey into fitness started as a semi professional triathlete competing in 20-30 races per year.

Struggling to turn pro, he sustained a knee injury which was destined to change the course of is life. Western medicine could not find a good answer for the pain. After finding his own “cure” he began a quest to understand the human body’s form and function so he could help others.

Education in personal training, massage therapy and physical medicine eventually culminated in graduation from a four year post-graduate program in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Today he gives seminars internationally, sees patients 3 days a week and has come here to help us, the Kimkins Community.

Well, if he is an internationally known holistic doctor that gives lots of seminars, surely we can find some info on him, right? Right?

Let's see what we can find about this "Dr. Heidi" oops, Dr. Mark.

Update:

"Re:Introducing Dr. Mark? 1 Minute ago
Yep,
No MD.

In 1995 I reached a point in my career where I needed more license and credentials to treat patients the way I wanted and write to the audience I was attracting.
My first choice was D.O. - Doctor of Osteopathy. I found, to my dismay, all of the D.O. shools in the U.S. basically mirror MD programs. In the early 70's the AMA found the D.O. License was as powerful as the MD. They approached all US schools and basically said "change your curriculum or lose your accreditation". Most changed or closed.

MD - Thought about it but did not want to be indoctrinated into the "Drugs and Surgery" model of medicine. Can you blame the MD though? The do internships and residencies in emergency room settings. If I have a knife sticking out of me the last thing I want is some herbs or acupuncture.

DC- Chiropractor - seemed a little too limiting in scope for me.

What I decided upon was Doctor of Oriental Medicine with a License as Acupuncture Physician.
As a primary care physician, my license covers everything except pre_script_ion drugs and surgery. Including, but not limited to, all physical medicine, rehabilitation, internal medicine, acupuncture, imaging and labs, injection of natural substances, nutrition and life_style_ counseling, additionology, herbology and medicinal meal (1000 hours) etc. etc. etc.....

Only problem was I was petrified of needles!! Got over it soon though and love what I do.

In Short
I am not an MD but know both sides of the fence.
My education covered every internal medical category from both eastern and western perspectives.

I hope everyone will take advantage of my 19 years of experience and excellent research skills. I am here for you.

Dr. Mark"

Or maybe Heidi is doing it and picked a name that has associations to dieting, Mark Hyman, Mark Mattson, etc.

Or maybe it's some guy whose first initials are DR , like for David Roger or Donald Robert. hahah

Dr Mark -
no last name?
no credentials?
no photo?

(never mind the photo --- we now know how easy those are to come up with!)

just a tailor-made back story that qualifies 'him' in medicine AND fitness training?

How handy for Heidi - she gets two imaginary friends for the price of one

Oh, yeah, I forgot. What was I thinking?

When you are the Great Kimmer, the Magnificent - why would you need anybody else? Who could possibly be a bigger expert on all things Google has to offer?

All else she really needs is a night shift of flunkies to do her dirty work while she sleeps.

Mark

Friends Don't Let Friends Do Kimkins

I've just read wonderful article titled "Friends Don't Let Friends Do Kimkins" at a blog I hadn't heard of before. "Drive Thru Only" has a very good post about the Kimkins saga. Please visit the blog HERE. Below is an excerpt from the post.

So I emailed Kimmer with the intent of just offering some friendly advice that it might not be a good idea to use fake photos on her site because of legal problems, and I was as nice as I possibly could be, even suggested that with the success of her diet, she should have real life success stories to use among her members. But I was incredibly insulted when she responded with:

Please be assured that all of the Success Photos are real.

If complexions are different that might be because very few of them are "professional" photos. Home photos turn out with various tones depending on lighting and features available. It's also why many are blurry.

But more than likely it has to do with my poor skills as a graphic artist. The photos which are sent to me are sometimes 'sunburn' red or greenish and I attempt to adjust them to more 'flesh' colored. I'm not a professional either.

Okay, I couldn't believe this chick was pissing on me and telling me it was raining. She wants me to believe that the people in her photos who changed ethnicities, grew hair, changed the shape of their eyes and noses, because SHE couldn't use Photoshop???? Unable to let it go, I fired back again and pointed out the inaccuracies of each of her fake photos on the site, and she responded with this short and simple little quote:

BBB Lowers Kimkins Rating Again

The Better Business Bureau has once again lowered the rating for Kimkins - this time to the lowest possible score a business can receive!

Despite Heidi, SingingLass and TippyToes all begging their members to write positive reviews for the BBB, Kimkin's rating now stands at an "F". Here is what the "F" rating means -

We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices.

Great stuff!

Attention Kimkins Affiliates

This was posted at LCF and we're reposting it here, as it is VERY important for all Kimkins affiliates to pay attention to this information.

Attention all past and present Kimkins affiliates!

On October 3rd, I emailed Heidi to ask that she pay me my affilate fees. They were only $45.00 because I had removed her banners from my website earlier in the month. I received an email from her in which she said they were paid by the 5th and she would ask them to do mine first. Thirty minutes later, I received an email from a "Brad Johnson" the supposed current affiliate manager. He told me they were reviewing my account for payment and that I needed to include my Social Security # for payment! Ummm, yea...sure. Do I have stupid written on my forehead? Like I'd give her my SS# so she can run off to Venezuela and become ME! LOL I wrote "him" back saying I received all my previous payments without the SS# and that with all the KK controversy going on, I would NOT be giving them my SS#. Of course, the 5th came and went and no payment. So, I wrote Heidi back this morning telling her what "Brad" said and that I would appreciate her having them pay me today. Here's what I received back.

"Hi Lisa,

The computer will not allow payment until your earnings reach the minimum $45.00 and there was a refund yesterday which subtracted an earned commission. Your current balance is $29.98.

It's your choice to not provide a social security number. Kimkins will send this email to the IRS with your name and address so they can contact you for the information.

Kimmer"

Was she threatening me with the last paragraph?? LOL Here was my final response to her:

"Kimmer,

Yes, please do forward it to them, since they already have my SS#, so they can contact me. I have a lot I'd like to tell them, myself.

Lisa"

So, now all of a sudden, a refund was posted to my account the day after I ask for payment? She's going to refund me right into the red until I owe her money. LOL

To get to main point of my post. If you know anyone who was or is a Kimkins affilate, PLEASE have them go into their accounts and first take a screen shot of what they are owed by Kimkins. Then have them change their contact information. Since the new site upgrade, there is a place in the affiliate accounts that asks for an SS#.

I had never filled it in. This morning, I went in to delete my account which cannot be done. So, I changed all my contact information, name, address, phone number, etc. to bogus information.
Exampe, I just put a single letter for both my first and last name, 123 "I Don't Think So" for the address and 123-456-1234 for the phone number. Just something to fill in the blanks so you can update it.

PLEASE pass this around to people you know and feel free to continue reposting it off and on in this forum and any others. As a disclaimer, I am not accusing Heidi of anything, but with the present controversy, I think we all would agree that we would not want her or her employees to have our personal contact information, let alone our SS#'s. Since we KNOW there was no Vanessa, I'm sure there is no Brad either.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Blessings,
Lisa

I myself went into my affiliate account and removed information before I outed myself from kimkins. I have all intentions to report the income, and don't feel Heidi needs access to my SS# or private info.

I luckily have a PO BOX and did leave that address in the contact information. A funny thing though, I think you and I share the same phone number now! LOL.

Kimmer On Technorati

As of this morning, Kimmer aka Heidi Diaz, is still trying to use that red dress photo of Lesya as herself on the Technorati website.

Also interesting to note - Kimkins.com authority is down to 1. That's right. One. Kimmer's blog (kimkinsdiet.com) is down to 12. Kimkins Dangers up to 82. :D

Keep up the great work and remember, if you see a new blog, let us know so we can link it here!

Actually, the site is kimkinsdiet.com and belongs to an affiliate, number 119 (Jimmy Moore was affiliate 102, so this 119 is certainly a long-time affililate.

Nonetheless, this does clearly demonstrate that the infamous red-dress pic is out there and associated with the diet scam and its website, even if they've recently tried to scrub the website of all traces of the faked success stories using photos stolen from the various Russian brides websites.

In fact, I hope all of those Russian brides get in on the Kimkins lawsuit and get what they deserve because Kimmer/Heidi made all of that money based on THEIR photos!

Hahaha @ Lisa - I bet the part where she said, "I have a lot of stuff to tell them also" scared Heidi into releasing her refund! Don't make threats you cant keep, Kimmer!

Something To Think About

A new post on the Anti-Kimkins blog raises a very important issue, and one that should be contemplated regardless of which side of the fence one is on.

Please read the full article here at Anti-Kimkins. Below is an excerpt:

No love for LowCarbFriends!

Now that all of the fake success stories have been discovered and confirmed by scores of people across the internet, I see everyone at LowCarbFriends (which I refuse to link) is all abuzz with the information. But I can't help but grumble over the fact that all of this could have been stopped over a year ago when myself and others tried to discuss Kimkins' fake Success Stories photos - and LCF admins promptly shut us up by deleting our threads!!! I remember one thread I put up asking innocently, "do these pictures just not look right to anyone else?" and it was gone within minutes. After that, everything I put up was SANITIZED by the admins, meaning, they EDITED my posts and took out anything I said that referred to Kimmer. And of course, their idiotic policy is to not allow you to discuss their actions on the board, so if you questioned it, they'd delete that too. That's when I closed my account there and vowed never to return. It's so ironic that NOW they decide its okay to slam Kimkins.

For years anti-Kimmer posts were deleted.
Off of LCF on private boards, we talked about how her pictures were fake and her diet unsafe. We felt, LCF was getting something out of having Kimmer there. Now, when the Kimmer ship is sinking, they made a turn around.
LCF mods have always had thier favorite pets. You can see it in the Kimmer threads. Posters that are clearly out of line bashing other members are petted, bash a pet and your post will be deleted.

Charlotte said...

I could not agree more; Tom and the admins at LCF are definitely partially guilty in this whole mess.

Kimmer would not have developed the following she did without those in charge at LCF allowing her to post what she wanted.

They enabled her for a long time, removing evidence when she was bitchy to people and cleaning up her controversial threads. They allowed her to have such an overwhelming presence in the Main Lobby, and punished people who confronted her.

It's pretty clear she did a lot of "grooming" of Tom, Cheri and Dottie. She spoke in Jimmy Moore's podcast about how much she liked them and how TOM gave her advice about how to manage her site.

They were scammed by her, just like so many others. Still, shame on them for letting their egos being stroked by some sociopath, cloud their judgement.

I agree, the LCF mods have their favorite pets. They respond well to suck-ups who play to their vanity and make them feel good about themselves.

Pathetic.

Alex said...

At one point, I remember where LCF didn't allow links to Ducky's blog in the Fascination thread... and then not too much later, Ducky's blog was being much celebrated and even moderators joined in with ducky avatars.

Not that that's a bad thing, it's just weird to have such big "swings" in political acceptance. It's hard to know what will be okay to post when one minute something is taboo, and the next, it's celebrated (or vice-versa, such as kimmer/kimkins).

I can't speak for the LCF mods but I really don't think they did anything wrong. It was a very strange time at LCF when Kimmer dominated the ML. She had ALOT of people snowed. We are on these boards to get support to lose weight. She had a convincing story and many people bought it hook line and sinker. That doesn't make anyone wrong.....just human.

I personally think they did the right thing in letting this play out. I'm a firm believer that everything happens exactly the way it's supposed to and HOPEFULLY, there have been MANY lessons learned from this mess.

Kimmer has caused so many problems for so many people. Let's help each other through the rest of this. Don't give her the satisfaction of seeing us turn on each other. It's tiem to heal and move forward.

Shirley said...

LCF doesn't have pets. They just go with what the majority wants. Just look at Dotty she was Kimmer's #1 fan until the facts started to come out about Heidi. Then she began to censor people who supported Kimkins. Go figure???? While some of the mods there might be volunteers, you can bet there is money involved somewhere. AND while blaming people, don't forget the GREAT JIMMY MOORE who was so into himself and his little business he couldn't see the forest for the trees and it wasn't until he was afraid some of his sponsors might pull out that he changed his tune from being one of the Kimmer's biggest fans to jumping on the anti-Kimkins bandwagon. This entire sordid affair gave a big balk-eye to low carbing.

On the positive side, "Kimkins" as a wikipedia search shows no results that are PRO kimkins. Better still, a google search shows a couple of Kimkins sites, almost buried under a URL avalanche of factual anti-kimkins blogs. Our day will come. We have already achieved a heck of a lot, and eventually teflon Heidi will be brought to justice.

Red Dress Woman - Revisited!

Eating crow is not fun for anyone, ourselves included!

We admit that we were completely convinced that the red dress "Olga" from Elena's Russian Bride's website WAS the red dress photo Kimmer has been using as HER after photo, but!

This evening, a lurker at the LCF Fascination thread found THIS!

The two photos above are found on "Leysa's" profile at another Russian mail-order bride website.

We offer our profound apologies for our insistance that the Olga photos were Kimmer (though we still say there is a strong resemblance! lol)

The saddest part of this is that so many people saw that photo of "Kimmer" and wanted SO BADLY to believe it was possible to become that. To be that person with such an "easy" diet plan and in such a short amount of time - even with no exercise!

Many of us wanted that SO badly that we were willing to forgo common sense, even to the point of ignoring the health warnings and complications that arise from such a dangerous way of eating.

THAT picture - that goal that so many have been striving for and starving for, is nothing but one more of Heidi's lies.

STOP following the Kimkins diets! DO NOT listen to the admins that tell you everything is ok! IT IS NOT OK!

Your health and your very life are NOT worth trying to become that LIE of a picture.

Please.

Stop now.

No apologies necessary. Both sets of pictures are clearly of the very same woman.

Two different "agencies", two different studios, lighting, makeup and shoes, on completely separate dates. Olga's hair is slightly longer and reddish tinted.

Still the very same dress, necklace, face, nose, hands, fingers, and arms.

They're both the same woman!

KK Dangers: You found the right woman, you just didn't find the right photo of her.

In looking closer at the two dresses, they are different contruction, but the girl's got a very distictive style.

Gaynell said...

Hey, at least crow is low carb!

It doesn't really matter if both sets of pics are of the same woman since we know for a fact that neither of those women is Heidi Diaz aka Kimmer.

We all knew it was a lie. So sweet to see the confirmation.

I just got home and saw the Red Dress lady was found!! Yeah!!! Olga still had a very strong resembalance though!!

Olga was a close match! Maybe they are related.

We have the perfet match photo now that proves that Heidi Diaz did not use a picture of herself for her after shot that was posted on Kimkins homepage.
So ok....
The other person Olga isn't the same person as Lesya-the red dress Kimmer, so a mistake was made but I find your intentions are blameless.
Heidi Diaz is the one who should be coming out to apologize!!!!

Any luck finding the identity of this other "after" picture?

I still don't think it's the same woman. It's easily the same or very very similar dress, but then, it's Russia. And it's a simple red dress style. Lots of women could have bought it. I also noticed--going through those damn Russian bride pics for over 3 hours plus--that a lot of the women wore that type of necklace/crucifix/icon thingy.

I think the "Kimmer" one is far prettier in the actual dimensions of her face. Subtle changes can add up to a greater prettiness. If you look at both the heads on and side with its counterparts, the differences are slight, but noticeable in a going back and forth. One's features come across sharper, less pretty. The other softer, rounder, more appealing. Eye color isn't the same, too. Different shoes.

And the women use different names.

The other fake Kimmer--Tatjana--used the same name at three different agencies.

So, if we find Lesya elsewhere, I suspect it's gonna be with the same name.

But, hey, we were all dizzy hoping, so why should you feel bad? :) We wuvs ya...even if it wuz the wrong gal.

Kimkins Controversy On Wikipedia

The Kimkins controversy is now an official entry on Wikipedia! Let's hope it sticks this time. Previous Kimkins entries that explained the scam and fraudulent activity of Kimkins and Heidi Diaz were removed. In light of new information and proof of these scams, this article should remain!

You can read the entire article here:

Kimkins Controversy - Wikipedia

Here is an excerpt:

The Kimkinsdiet was originally conceived by Heidi Diaz, also known as "Kimmer," while she was a participant in the Low Carb Friends website and message boards. Her claimed 198 lb weight loss in only 11 months inspired others to follow her example, and soon she left Low Carb Friends and started her own site, kimkins.com, with a business associate.

A feature about the Kimkins diet in a June 2007, Woman's World magazine catapulted the membership from hundreds to an estimated 40,000 members in a matter of days. A fee of $59.95 is required for a lifetime membership which gives access to the diet plans and online support forums and resources. However, some users, including administrators and a former partner, claim to have been immediately and permanently banned from the site - typically with no automatic refund of "lifetime" membership fee - after questioning Diaz's identity, photos, and business practices.

The diet itself was initially described by Diaz as a combination of the Atkins and Stillman diets, basically the low-carb of Atkins combined with the low-fat of Stillman. Numerous members of Kimkins.com reported dramatic weight loss successes. The Kimkins.com website featured numerous success stories of reputed Kimkins.com members.

What I would LOVE to know, is when articles are written oh, say, by Women's World, aren't these articles VERIFIED? Seems to me, that not only is this irresponsible, but it's downright dangerous since people would infer an article in a magazine such as this as an endorsement regardless of any disclaimer by said magazine.

It's terrifying and infuriating to me that WW ran this article without doing any research. Did they interview Heidi Kimberly Diaz in person? Did they not contact any of those AFTER pictures (which, by the way, did not include before pics).

I'm curious: if Kimmers if 50 (49 according to PrivateEye.com, then how can her mother be only 39?
http://www.kimkins.com/content/view/1050/135/
Also, if she's only 5'3" tall, how come 150lbs on her looks slimmer than 150 on me at 5'8"?
Gotta wonder..

Jimmy Moore Calls Heidi Diaz

Yesterday, Jimmy Moore called Heidi Diaz to try to talk to her about the news story that ran on KTLA last night. He has posted the audio of the recording for everyone to hear. You can listen by clicking on THIS LINK.

The number called was the same number Jimmy has used in the past when contacting "Kimmer" for various Kimkins business related phone calls.

Compare the voice with the voice of "Kimmer" as heard on Jimmy's podcast interview, which can be found HERE.

Kimmer = Heidi Diaz.

The Tell-Tale Eye

The "eye" from the Kimmer Red Dress photo. Please note the sharp line at the left of the iris that also extends OVER the upper eyelid at the top point of the eyeball graphic. Does that really look like a normal eye?

Below is an enlargement of a normal eye. The iris does not change shape and become triangular nor does the white extend into areas it should not be. The white of the eye can also be seen in the left corner of the eye, where it is supposed to be.

I do hope this explains the eye issue clearly enough. Whether or not you agree that the red dress woman is the same woman in all pics, the eye has clearly been edited, and edited poorly, we might add.

Plus her eyebrow is starting way down at the inside corner of her eye, not ABOVE the eye where a normal brow starts. ;-)

Amy (Curlygirl) Speaks Out on Kimkins
The very popular Amy / Curlygirl of Eating Low fame speaks out about the Kimkins debacle on her blog today. Many of you may remember Amy from her series of low-carb cooking videos and recipes. We'd also like to add that she is not a Russian Mail Order Bride. (grin) Her success story as featured on the Kimkins website is one of the few real success stories.

Here is an excerpt from her post. Please visit her blog - Eating Low - to read the full article!

I don't usually do this,

but I feel I have to. You all know that I don't usually speak out that much on all the Kimkins drama. I choose to focus on other things and leave that to the other sites to worry about because I really do want my site and my forum to be a drama free zone where people can just focus on the present and their own weight loss. However, I must say something about the Kimkins success stories.

KTLA Kimkins Coverage Part 2

Ongoing coverage of the Kimkins diet scam aired tonight on KTLA news. You can watch the video here. Tomorrow, we will add the direct link to the video on the sidebar of the blog, so it will remain visible when this post gets buried.

Featured in tonight's installment - Christin's story, more from Heidi/HBGal and an interview with a nutritionist on the dangers of the Kimkins diet plans.

A special thanks to Chip Yost and the KTLA management for bringing this dangerous fraud to the television!

Examining Red Dress Photos

Apparently, not everyone agrees that the red dress photos from the Russian website are indeed the same woman used by Kimmer as her "After" picture.

We offer the following:

Example 1 - another picture of the same woman from the Russian website. Compare side by side facial close ups with the Kimmer red dress photo. Note the shape of the nose. The "wrinkle" at the edge of the lips on the left hand side. The same "pouches" under the eyes and the same eyebrows. The same oddly shaped part in the hair.

We increased the size of the Kimmer red dress photo and found evidence that the photograph was altered before being used by Kimmer. When you alter a photograph with a graphic enhancing program, unless the user is very, very good, there are always visible signs left that indicate a graphic change was made to the image. In this case, the eye color of the Kimmer red dress photo was changed to brown. Note the pixelated area around the eyes on the Kimmer red dress photo (image 2) as opposed to the enlargement of a natural - unretouched photo (image 1). Also please note the shape of the nose is identical in both images.

We know that many will not agree and continue to search for another "red dress woman", but we here at Kimkins Dangers are satisfied that these are indeed the same woman.

I'm glad to see at least a few people agree with me!

Remember Heidi (or someone) knows how to Photoshop. Also, different lighting and angles will make your face look different.

Kimkins Dangers said...

Thank YOU for being in agreement as well. We are positive these are of the same woman and we are taking steps to acquire the necessary verification from the Russian website.

Anonymous said...

I'm holding out for that exact photo before alteration. If Heidi used it, it's got to be out there. I still think Heidi's "after" is thinner in her face - unless it was taken at an earlier or later date. Whatever, it AIN'T Heidi/Kimmer!

Mimi said...

oooh I hope you're right! What a scoop! Darn it, I wanted to be the one to find it first! But ya know what? The Kimpire Is Burning! This is a day, a week, to CELEBRATE!

After seeing these photos, I do think you found the right woman. I would not be surprised if she is on several sites and has the "kimmer" photo somewhere else. I wasn't at first convinced, but these closeups confirm it in my eyes.

I'm anxious to find out what the model says.

Once Upon A Dieter said...

I saw that weird triangular eye thing at LCF and thought, "That's why that pic always subconsciously bugged me."

But I'm still not thoroughly convinced. Why? Every other pic that's been found is the EXACT SAME PIC--pose and face and etc.

This one, the pose is not exact. So, the actual pic has not been found, ergo, why should we be assured the woman has been found?

I'm not 100% with you on this one.

But yes, the eyes are mighty weird.

kayjaydee said...

I have to disagree on the pixillation. The photo on the right is a lower resolution and that's why it's pixillating. If it was a photoshop job, why are the lips, ears and hair pixillated too? Nope, different pics.

Why does Kimmer/Heidi/whoever she is right click and copy every other pic but this one she supposedly takes the time to photoshop?

Nope, not convinced.

Anonymous said...

I would recommend you guys alter photo 2 (kimmer's version) and add in the blue eyes of the other picture as well as the same lip color. That would make things a bit more clear and easy to assess. I'd do it for you if I weren't at work right now.

I do think the facial structure, hair line, and overall wrinkles/lines match up really well. I'll be on the lookout for updates.

Anonymous said...

I'm not so sure that's the same woman. They have different eye colors and several of the facial features look different enough for me that I don't think it's her.

I too would have to see the identical shot to be convinced.

BamaGal said...

KD--I agree with you-it is the same exact dress too--even though the color is off---look at the gathering on the abdomen area, it is a design on the dress not just the way it is draped---same in both pics.

still need to find the exact pic to be on the safe side

Kimmerexia said...

kayjaydee sez "Why does Kimmer/Heidi/whoever she is right click and copy every other pic but this one she supposedly takes the time to photoshop?"

Because she'd always said she had brown hair (well, wig) and brown eyes on LCF. She needed a highly marketable photo that also matched her previously stated hair and eye colors.

And it was hardly the only photo that was doctored up for either a before or after pic. Yes, MOST pictures she obviously stole directly from the various Russian Brides websites. I don't doubt for a minute that this is another one and I don't doubt it is originally of the same model now shown in the other poses with the same red dress, same necklace, hairstyle, arms, hands and fingers and facial features, particularly the slightly offset point of the nose, but the photo has has been significantly doctored.

Red Dress Woman Revealed

Straps on the dress are the same.
Piping around the edges of the dress are the same.
Off-center part in the hair is the same.
Gold necklace is the same.

The difference is that the first picture has been color-enhanced - the red is more "red" than the other pictures. The hair in the second picture is also color-enhanced, adding artificial reds to the shading.

Others may disagree, but we are absolutely certain they are the same woman.

Here is the photo that Kimmer/Heidi used on her website (and stated in the Jimmy Moore podcast interview) as her "after" picture, presented side by side with images from the Russian brides / dating / modeling website. (Please note the straps of the dress and the gold necklace.)

It does not surprise us at all that Heidi would use stolen images from a website that exploits women in order to perpetrate her scam.

We hope that everyone still associated with the Kimkins website will sever ties immediately.

I don't think the second gal looks exactly like the first gal. :::shrug:::

The other one they found with the auburn hair and light eyes, THAT was an exact match. So, clearly, "Kim" of WW article's after is a "hot Russian bride".

And another "success story" is an Elena's Model (also from foreign lands).

Seems Heidi figured the search engine was convenient--put in age, hair color, eye color, desired height and weight ranges--and voila, gals who wouldn't be at Kimkins so couldn't complain that their images were stolen and used.

But I think the search for the Red Dress woman is not finished....

Eh, I just dont see it, not the same woman. Dresses like that are common. Keep searching

LCT Cathy said...

When looking at the middle photo and the eye/eyebrown on the right and the "after" photo in the same area, it seems extremely similar. The noses look the same in pic one and two and her arms both look the same.

I took an informal poll here at home and everyone agreed that it was the same person - go figure.

The thing with some of these Russian Bride sites is that some of these agencies are scams and you can find pictures on several different sites; this may account for it looking just different enough.

It's really hard to tell though because the orientation of the face is different. If I were to take a picture of myself in those three poses, I think I would probably be easily identifiable as the same person but some people don't have an even symetry to both sides of their face and it would look different enough to make you not sure it's the same person.

My two cents.

GingerSue said...

There is a larger, uncropped version of the red dress photo, with the model standing next to a pedestal or column. I thought I had saved it, but now can't find it. If you can get a copy of it, you might have a better view of the dress to compare it to the Russian woman.

Anonymous said...

The hands are exactly the same. The hair is the same length and the same cut. Come on.... what are the odds Kimmer is a dead match for some Russian chick? You really have to pretzel logic to come to that conclusion.

Anonymous said...

Well that can't possibly be Kimmer because she's got hair and she's not wearing a size XXXXXXL pair of gray sweatpants. Where are the boxes of cookies and quarter pounders?!

Life isn't easy when you work in a maximum security prison. That was my job. I was a prison psychological evaluator. The stories I hear are extremely stressful to say the least and more often than not I found the stress following me home -- as well as to every fast food place and restaurant from the interstate to my front door. It seemed some day the only things that could make me relax was food. How sick is that I ask you?

Kimmer - A Government Spy?

(photo from LCF poster - great job!)

Haha! Yes, it is a funny thought, isn't it? However, Kimmer seems to believe it's true, or should we say "The Kimmer". Posted at the LCF Kimmer thread this afternoon is a private message sent to a member from The Kimmer herself. We have outside confirmation that this is indeed an authentic PM from The Kimmer.

She has said this before, along with claims of having worked in aerospace long ago. Whether she ever really worked at Hughes Aircraft or not, at this point in time, any "security clearance" she was given then would not still be in affect today.

WillSheBanMe said...
She had the friggin' nerve to tell me this in a private message today:

What a sweet note! The problem is that I am not Heidi. If you read my post earlier, I took Heidi's identity (if you want to call it that) when I first started posting on the internet. It was new and scary to me. I have a national security clearance and wasn't about to give any of MY information on a public source.

Heidi isn't bothered by the TV thing at all. She owns part of Kimkins and that's as far as her involvement goes. I needed someone to be "me" when I met Catherine who I didn't know. She had some kind of tax evasion problem in
Canada and moved to Malta. Not somebody I'm going to divulge personal secrets to.

I know you're offering the very best support and that's so important to me. Please keep up the good work, keep the challenge going -- lose weight!
That's why we're here.

I agree. The logic here is simply astounding. Let's think through what she just said...

"When I don't trust people enough to give them my own information, I give them my friend’s info instead so if anything bad happens, it will happen to her and not me...oh, and she's totally cool with that."

If that was a true story (which we know it isn't), that story alone--apart from all the other insanity--would be enough to make any logical person completely disregard any other "advice" the women gave.

TippyToes Weighs In

Posted today at Doggygirl's Blog - TippyToes / Jeannie Baitinger, Kimkins PR Director, responds to the Heidi Diaz scandal. Please read the full article HERE.

Here is an excerpt:

Tippy: “This is my comment on the Kimkins Heidi Diaz subject. None of us knows who Kimmer really is for sure. But if she is Heidi Diaz then she would not be the first person to gain weight and not admit to it. Take a good look at the current admins at LCF. And read this carefully. I went to a gathering and they all looked pretty good! I was inspired by the before pics they all shared. After that gathering I stopped losing weight on Atkins diet. The admins did encourage me to stick it out, add this, take that out, ect. I did listen to them and tried it all. The stall would not break. Still, I kept thinking how slim they all were at the gathering and how much I respected the opinions and suggestions given. I waited for 6 months and the stall never broke. Soon after I found Kimkins and it worked beautifully. Gathering #2 came and we went. This time I was nearly in shock. The very same admins who were giving me advice and telling me NOT to use Kimkins had regained a lot of weight back. (Not all but most had) Worse, many never changed stats or removed the “after” pics either. I wanted to cry. I had believed them… And yes I did take pics at both gatherings and no I will not show them. I will not be taking the same path as the haters. That would be wrong.

Tippy Toes Weighs In.

"Kimkins Wurkt Fer Me"

An interesting discussion found on the ALC Kimmer thread:

Poster A is defending the Kimkins diet, although claiming her caloric intake was 1600-1800 cals per day (which is obviously NOT Kimkins).

Poster B gave an excellent response.

Poster A:

But don't you think that all those people ultimately had a hand in what happened to themselves? No one can force *anyone* to go on a diet.
No one can force anyone to eat less food or eat more food. We make our *own* choices (hopefully based on common sense) and blaming one single person for something that people chose to do to themselves just seems strange to me.
Everyone has thier *own* brain and the power to use it.

In my experience with Kimkins, I found that the diet worked for me.
Granted, I did keep my calories up to 1600 to 1800 per day, never used laxatives and since I am over 350 pounds it certainly did help me to lose a lot of water retention and made my legs feel a whole lot better then they were feeling previously and that just by itself was a good thing.

It just seems to me that people are mainly ticked off because they got ripped off a few dollars and never got what was promised but things have been going on like that since time began.

Then later said:

Okay, I just read this here (as I do not subscribe to the Kimkins site) and even I have to admit that the woman does need to be in a nice well-padded safe rubber room.

Pretending not to be yourself is just weird.
Poster B:

Almost as weird as pretending there is no such thing as "starvation mode", pretending that it's the paid members fault when their bodies begin to devour their organ muscles because they are suffering from malnutrition.

Almost as weird as pretending diet plans are safe for ALL diabetics and that feeling nauseous all the time is NORMAL and even desirable.

Almost as weird as sitting behind a computer, urging people to starve themselves to death while weighing 300+ pounds and eating sugar cookies. while telling them that they are too weak for the plan and not tough enough to stick to it and they just really WANT to be fat and miserable.

Anyone who even pretends that Kimkins is remotely "safe" or okay at this point, knowing all of the information that is out there, is aiding and abetting the crimes.

Christin lost a lot of weight on Kimkins. She looks fantastic. She's also seeing a cardiologist to undo the damage the malnutrition caused to her heart. She said that she wanted to be thin to ensure she'd have a long life with her family and she may have unwittingly shortened her life expectancy because she believed the lies that Heidi is selling.

The whole "well Kimkins wurkt fer me" crap has got to stop.

Kimmer Continues The Lies

From The TRUTH Starts Here - Another reaction from Kimmer to the KTLA News story. She can try as hard as she wants to say that "Kimmer" is not Heidi Diaz, but the proof is there. All the evidence that is needed to prove Kimmer's identity as Heidi K. Diaz is in the hands of those that can act upon it. Fascinating psychologically, we repost it here for your reading.

We are surprised that the extent of their investigation was to post information from the anti-Kimmer websites. We cannot make this any more plain that I am not Heidi. She and I have been friends since high school and when I began posting on the internet nearly 10 years ago I used Heidi. As I've mentioned, I also use other names when writing, particularly for men's magazines. Heidi is an owner of Kimkins.com and nothing more. How do I say this nicely? She doesn't "care" about Kimkins. Her interests are in other areas entirely. I did not trust Catherine (former partner) and Heidi stepped in as me. She has not seen the news clip but I will be seeing her this weekend.

The news clip me of the "diet review" done by About.com which also only parrots the anti-Kimmer blogs. No medical review. No impartiality. Hundreds of pro-Kimkins members wrote to Laura Dolson (who was impressed with their intelligence she told me), but didn't change her review at all.

Oh well, can't win them all.

The focus of Kimkins.com has always been about weight loss. We want to keep that focus. We've had 3 new success stories submitted this week and CONGRATS to those members! We'll have them up soon and thanks for your generosity in sharing to motivate others!

The Kimkins partners have formed a management group headed by Tippy Toes. All of the admins, partners, staff and I are hard at work behind the scenes making Kimkins a bigger and better site for our members. Tippy Toes has graciously accepted responsibility for coordinating everyone (when does that girl sleep) and she's doing a stellar job!

If anyone has questions, ask an admin! Danielle & Wannabefit2 are Kimkins staffers. We appreciate the enormous amount of time all admins donate to Kimkins members. They are extremely generous people.

We've got some exciting features to announce very soon -- all designed to help with life_style_ changes for permanent weight loss. Stay tuned

The Metamorphosis of the Kimkins Diet Scam

When you go to www.Kimkins.com, you will no longer see the "Lady in Red" or Kimmer bragging about how she created Kimkins and lost 198 lbs. in 11 months. So, if it's not on the website, who can prove she ever said it?

Just because you take something off your website, that doesn't completely erase it.

Check this out!

http://web.archive.org/web/20070713162827/http://www.kimkins.com/

Imagine that?! ;)

Check out how the website looked in July of 2006:

http://web.archive.org/web/20060702010646/http://www.kimkins.com/

Notice she claims to have lost 160 lbs. in just 7 months? And that she went from 318 to 118 in less than a year?

Back in the day, Kimkins was just $14.95.

A Kimkins Member Responds

This is very sad.. really. First, the poor poster obviously does not care that Heidi Diaz is a completely and utter fraud, but also believes her scam of a diet will actually help her, blissfully unaware of the health risks she will face as a result of prolonged malnutrition. All we can say is that we HOPE this poster sees Part 2 of the Kimkins Expose on KTLA tonight.

I was innocently sitting here this morning getting ready for work. When the news teases.....a popular diet poses a health risk, so I glance over and see kimkins on the screen, I thought OH GREAAAAAT!

Well that had nothing to do with the story.

The store was about kimkins founder being a fraud. Stating that the pic in the red dress is a fake and she is still at her start weight. And since the report the red dress pic was taken down.

You know what??? I DON'T CARE!!!!! This diet WORKS!!!

They continued to say people are charged the 59 dollar lifetime fee and are ripped off....excuse me? 59 dollars for the rest of my life?!?! We've all seen the comparison chart for the other diets monthly and yearly costs let alone lifetime, 59 is a BARGAIN price!!!

There was a gal featured, I did not catch her name, but she gave a report with her experience saying the diet didn't work. Well girly, did you quit? Give up? Cuz I, along with MANY others are losing weight here DAILY!!!!!!!!

This is absurd and people like to bad mouth the unfamiliar, find anything they can to say yet another diet did not work.

I don't care if the founder is a size 26 or a 00 if you work this diet it works!!!!!!!!!

I watched it on Ktla channel 5 in Los Angeles, their website is www.ktla.trb.com but I don't know if anything is on there, I say we all write them and say this diet WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable

(posted by wettybauer99) Re:Kimkins bad news story 11 Minutes ago

how can you all say you dont care?

I was the BIGGEST personal supportr of Kimmer...the woman herself.....all the lies...how can you blindly say "i dont care!"

(posted by tnvol) Re:Kimkins bad news story 5 Minutes ago

Don't care? I was lied to. I am worried about my health, is the "founder" is not real, then how do you believe the diet is?!! I CARE!!

nice, you posted my pulled post here without my permission, i think you should remove it!!! I will disclaim that since that post where I was unknowledgeable to the rest of the crap with this kimkins diet fiasco scam I NOW know what the hell this is all about. So talking shit about me is BS. I posted that early this morning, now it is 2:47 and I have been banned from Kimkins, refunded my money for Kimkins and moving on with my life. I have been reading on a kimkins scandal website all afternoon. Anyway that is what is up with me do not assume I am ALL FOR A CHEAT AND SCAMMER when I did not know all the info prior to.

I am posting anon because I don't feel like going through the registration crap.

dancer2be,

First, we are very happy to hear that you've removed yourself from the scam that is Kimkins! We hope you'll seek out a supportive environment such as Jimmy Moore's forum to call your new home. Amazing how quickly things can change, isn't it?

Secondly, we are not "talking shit about" you at all. Your post is indicative of many and a prime example of how people are being misled inside the KK website, and it will remain.

I hope many will follow your example and make a hasty retreat from Kimkins!

Heidi Diaz Responds To The News

In a very odd post, Heidi Diaz tries to answer the questions about the news program. Here is what she had to say (or rather.. not say): (our comments are in red)

Message:

Maybe I can shed some light? (Well, yes, yes you could. Start by telling the truth.)

The point of this website -- the entire reason it exists -- is to help people lose weight. When there's interference with that intent, we take action. (The only interference is YOU Heidi, and your lying, scamming ass.) Whether that is banning troublemakers (Troublemakers is not defined as "people who speak the truth or ask questions") or removing elements that distract from our purpose, we do it.

Personally I don't like negativity on this site. (Personally, I think you're insane.) I've said it a thousand times and I still mean it. If anyone is unhappy or disillusioned, there are a ton of other websites to vent your feelings. Or, start an anti-Kimmer blog like the popular kids . Sorry, bad humor. Everyone is 100% to their opinion. Absolutely. Just take the negative opinions elsewhere. (Negative opinions? You don't think you deserve to hear those or be called to task to answer them?)

Or, you could just lose weight? (SO COULD YOU)

Those of you who have been members since the website started have seen regular changes to the front page. (Yes, regularly, as we all uncover new lies and scams, you remove the evidence!) I think we are on #5 facelift ? Our graphic guys get bored and every few months they get an urge to make changes. Unfortunately, this change was stopped midway. The brother of our lead graphic person is having open heart surgery (Oh another call for pity, eh?) and the balance of the design changes have been postponed a few days.

They've got ideas for another front page change a few months from now. It's the nature of the beast. (Yeah, changing the name from Kimkins to Jailkins)

COMMENTS:

Wow, she didn't address a single thing.

Mirtika said...

I would hope that even the diehard Kimkinettes will notice how utterly lame that was.

The graphic guys get BORED? They spontaneously start changing things? And the surgery just so happens to coincide with the expose on tv?

Uh-huh. Sure. And I look just like Angelina Jolie, only cuter. (Snarf.)

Heidi needs to brainstorm better excuses. Those suck.

Diet Review Website Slams Kimkins

We found this just now while checking on the google search results for Kimkins.

Diets In Review - Kimkins

Here is an excerpt:

BACKGROUND
Please note, DietsInReview.com does not recommend the Kimkins diet program. Kimkins has completely misrepresented itself and the information it presents to customers, and in doing so, has endangered the lives of many of those people.

Kimkins broke into the diet scene in 2000 selling itself as the one sure thing to end your dieting chaos. She said she had been an obese 300 pounds and like so many others, struggled to find a diet that worked for her. So she created her own solution- a low-carb/low-calorie diet that she says works incredibly fast. Not only would Kimkins help you lose weight quickly (198 pounds in one year in her case), but the plan would set you up for success for life. Kimkins also excitedly promotes that you won't have to do a single stretch, sprint or sit-up as exercise isn't necessary to achieve these amazing results.

Unfortunately, none of it is true. Kimkins is being investigated for fraud after many customers became seriously ill. Kimkins is an excruciatingly low-calorie diet and none of the information presented as fact as any medical or scientific support. Kimmer herself does not have a nutritional background and her advice is strictly from what appears to be fake experiences.

Christin Discusses Kimmer's Low Calorie Advice

Updating her blog today, Christin has an informative post discussing the advice given by Kimmer/Heidi herself to cut calories and keep them dangerously low. Here is an excerpt. Please read the full post HERE at Christin's blog!

It has recently been suggested that people such as myself abused the Kimkins plan by cutting our calories to unhealthy levels on our own in opposition of the true intent of the plan. I am sorry to say that this is not true.

Tippy said: "I think it was well said previously that Kimkins diet has been abused by some members at their own doings who now point the finger in blame towards us." This statement is incorrect. This is the way we were instructed to follow the plan "correctly."

It saddens and sickens me to admit this about myself, but I feel that I must share in order to bring to light proof of the eating disordered behavior that I not only engaged in, but was encouraged in.

PI Robert Charlton's Blog

The private investigator handling the Kimkins / Heidi Diaz case has his own blog where you can read about the investigation.

Eye opening stuff! Read about it HERE!

The first day out, Ms. Diaz drove to a local gas station and returned to her residence. She sat inside her vehicle for a half hour while talking on the cell phone. (Probably talking to a customer.) The video was short since Ms. Diaz did not engage in much activity. I was determined to obtain quality photo shots for my client and prepared for continuing surveillance.

Days went by and boredom crept in. I would exit my vehicle to walk through the apartment complex to stretch and get fresh air. While walking passed Ms. Diaz's apartment unit, I would look up and notice her in the window on the second level of the building. She would look down and smile while seated near at the window, typing away on her computer. I found it strange that a woman would sit at an open window without her wig, being that Heidi is bald.

TippyToes Tries To Explain

In a poor attempt to explain away the changes on the KK site recently, TippyToes offers this post: (our comments in red)

We are making many new and positive changes to this site every single day. (By changes you mean removing incriminating evidence...)We have chosen to remove the red dress photo and in place use People magazine. Too much contravery surrounds that pic and rather than try to defend its use we have decided to simply replace it. (You mean that you CANNOT defend it as it is not a real picture of Heidi!) The success stories are still there although someone else did ask me where they went. I checked and they are there. Not sure if this is a tech glitch or not. But I can look further into it. Does anyone else not see them?

I think it was well said previously that Kimkins diet has been abused by some members at their own doings who now point the finger in blame towards us. (STOP blaming the flaws of the plan on the MEMBERS! They were simply doing what they were told! It IS your fault!) We are encouraging everyone to not abuse the plans or themselves for weight loss. They don't have to! Kimkins works beautifully all on its own. We do not promote starvation, laxitive abuse or any of the like and we are making this clear. (WRONG! 500 calories a day IS starvation! Kimmer/Heidi HERSELF has said MANY times to take a laxative DAILY!) There will always be room for improvements and we are always willing to make them. (The only real improvement is the closing of the KK website!) We have even introduced a cycle option as part of the positive change and to help transition towards maintenance later.

We have also removed the cruise info. We have decided that a cruise would present a safety hazzard for Kimkins members as well as staff. However, rest assured we have some new gathering ideas in the works for next year. What we have in mind will be better and will geer (Hazzard?)(Geer?) more in tuned with Kimkins diets than an all you can eat fest cruise. I have cruised many times and it is not possible in my opinion to not gain some weight. So we are making positive changes in this area as well. (What really happened here is that Regandy decided to continue planning the cruise but BREAK all ties with Kimkins! Regandy asked for the cruise info to be removed, KK didn't decide to remove it!)

The year 2008 is going to offer a lot of fun for members here. We have a walk for breast cancer coming up and I will be posting more soon. In addition we are considering a fundraiser challenge to benefit Toys For Tots. Members participating would make and pay their own pledges directly to Toys For Tots. There are also talks of a fund raiser coming soon to benefit local low cost animal sterilization services. (Uh oh.)

So hang tight, my fellow Kimkinettes! Change is GOOD!

I want you all to not be afraid to see positive changes being made. This only means we are here to stay and getting better all the time.

The next is an answer to a question about monitoring of PMs. Someon had commented that monitoring would not prevent hacking and asked who was doing the monitoring.

The reason for the PM's being monitored is to find the sources who are hacking in by simply reading...

We are making this known to you so that there is no misunderstanding later.

As far as who is reading them, I will not say for protection of that admin. That admin has a job to do for the good of this site and the good of its members. Nothing more, nothing less. The same admin has been very busy uncovering a lot elsewhere and bit by bit we are winning this war.

I am hoping we will not need to do this forever. But we have to face facts here. The hackers came on to this site with harm's intent. They did PM to each other and we know this now. So this is why we are monitoring and what we hope to stop.

Again, we apologize but feel we must take this action.

The Kimkins Police State!

Here is an amazing reply:

See ya! 1 Minute ago
Goodbye all! Just posted over in the red dress thread (What happened to Kimmer's Red Dress Picture?) about how upset I am about all the changes. Here it is just so you know…

Too much controversy surrounding the red dress???? Are you kidding me??? Why not fix this then????? There should be NO controversy!!! FIX THIS by proving what is real! I don't understand what the problem is. If the picture is Kimmer then PROVE IT! Why all the secrets, changes, drama, and lies??? WHY??? I have been around since the beginning on LCF. I was one of the first 20 members of Kimkins when all was hailed..."isn't it nice to be on a site where you can speak freely and not have PM's read and posts changed/deleted" WTH? This place is worse than LCF EVER was. What is wrong with you crazy people?? This is a nut house now. I can't believe what has happened to this place. I feel so sad for the members who don't understand that all of this change is a horrible sign. I am so sad it has come to this.

Goodbye all and good luck to finding what works for you!

WHO IS DR. PESCATORE?? Well, I've read his bio. I understand that he, along with his Hampton's diet was somehow mentioned in that infamous WW Kimkins article. What does Dr. Pescatore have in common with Hidey? Maybe a desire to capitalize on the Atkins name? Is there any further connection or did WW just make something up that appeared like an endorsement or connection? Anyway, I wanna know. Here's what I blogged about today - the quote is exactly what I wrote to Dr. P (or his representatives) at the Hampton's diet web site.

I've blogged about Dr. Fred Pescatore, including an interview with him. Here's a column where he supported people who are on low-carb:

http://livinlavidalocarb.blogspot.com/2006/04/hamptons-diet-author-to-low-carb.html

And here is my interview with him from June 2006:

http://livinlavidalocarb.blogspot.com/2006/06/pescatore-media-has-bastardized-low.html

I read the Woman's World article and don't think he was "endorsing" Kimkins at all. He was simply sharing his thoughts about low-carb diets since he is a name they could reference with this unknown plan.

Of course, I'm sure Dr. Pescatore is wishing he hadn't even associated himself with it now. :)

Thanks for posting this. Exposing the truth is all you can do for now and hope that other members get curious and run across this.

As far as the cruise is concerned I do not appreciate the words "Safety Hazzard" being thrown my way. It is just more evidence that lies, inuendos, & deceptions are the main course served up. To insinuate that I would do ANYTHING "unsafe" is so ridiculous and juvenile.

Oh wait... perhaps they mean on THEIR end it would be a safety concern to the REST of us.. OHHHH... now I get it! Thanks for the heads-up Tippy!! Whew, I'm glad kimkins isn't going... cause that would have been scary!

I've linked up to this "annotated" version of Tippy's fibfest.

It's one thing to be genuinely scammed and deluded, honestly so, like so many.

It's another to blatantly twist things for profit. Tippy is a money whore, the Propaganda Minister of Kimkins. Shame on her! She knows damn well why there is controversy about the pic, and she covers up. She knows damn well why the cruise got nixed, and she's spinning it (badly, but yeah, some will fall for the lies). She's blaming the victims, who actually followed Kimmer's advice to the letter, unlike Tippy, who did Atkins and tweaked Kimkins. (snarf) The spokeswoman for Kimkins didn't lose the weigh ton Kimkins. How she can continue to just twist and lie is astounding and shows a character that is sorely damaged and defective.

"Heads Up" Thread At Kimkins

Re:Heads Up 11 Minutes ago

They say they do not understand how the tactics could be considered terrorism. So for them here it is, straight from Webster’s dictonary: “Terrorism. the use of force or threats to intimidate”. This would include the attack launched by Ducky towards KimATC, threatening to post info about her children if she didn’t quit within a time limit set by them. This would also include SingingLass’s real name, address and phone number being posted with reference seeking those who live near her to “get her”. She has recieved major threats by telephone including death threats. They have suggested that if she has children they are in danger. This IS terrorism and this MUST be stopped.

We feel the need to respond to this insanity. Our comments are in red, below:

Re:Heads Up 11 Minutes ago
They say they do not understand how the tactics could be considered terrorism. So for them here it is, straight from Webster’s dictonary: “Terrorism. the use of force or threats to intimidate”.

Full definition of Terrorism:
American Heritage Dictionary - Cite This Source - Share This ter·ror·ism (těr'ə-rĭz'əm) Pronunciation Key
n. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.

This would include the attack launched by Ducky towards KimATC, threatening to post info about her children if she didn’t quit within a time limit set by them.

Untrue. Ducky posted information directly from KimATC's own profile at Kimkins.com. The information was made public by KimATC herself and when removed from the Kimkins website, it was also removed from Ducky's post. There was no threat made at all. Good grief.

This would also include SingingLass’s real name, address and phone number being posted with reference seeking those who live near her to “get her”.

All information posted about SingingLass was found on public profiles that SingingLass herself has posted. Nowhere in the post about her does it say to "get her". The use of quotes in the above statement implies that those words directly were used and they were not. No threat was made at all.

She has recieved major threats by telephone including death threats.

If that is true, she should call her local police and report it. They can verify IF any calls came in and from where. They can also investigate to see if any real threats were made, though we don't believe it. Also, being a psychic, she should know who is calling before answering the phone, yeah?

They have suggested that if she has children they are in danger.

They who? If that is true, that should be reported to the police for further investigation, though an investigation will also lead back to Kimkins... interesting. :D

This IS terrorism and this MUST be stopped.

This is not terrorism. This is consumer activism, angry people scammed out of money, denied services and refunds and harmed by a dangerous fraud of a "diet" and it's equally fraudulent founder.

If you really believe this is terrorism, please, call Homeland Security. I'd love to hear what they had to say about Jeannie Baitinger and her threatening email. I'd love to hear what they had to say about a woman defrauding the U.S. Government. I'd love to hear what they had to say about the FTC violations and copyright infringement. I'd love it. Really. Call 'em.

Be careful what you ask for Tippy.. lol. Asking for the authorities to get involved in the issue means that they will GET INVOLVED and look at EVERYTHING, including the "fund raiser for foster children" that you promoted.

As we said in an earlier post, CALL THE POLICE, let the law enforcement agencies and the halls of justice sort this out. That is what they are there for.

FWIW, falsely accusing someone of being a terrorist is illegal.

I second the urging. TIPPY, CALL HOMELAND SECURITY. Hurry, call them today!

And I do urge SingingLass to call the police and, if she recorded the "death threats"--and yes, I'm skeptical--that this should be reported without delay. I think death threats are despicable, but more importantly, they are illegal. So, yes, open up your phone records to the authorities. This is important.

Tippy, you should call the cops, too. I'm sure the copies of your emails to the LCF admins should come under scrutiny by them, too. Just to be forthright and all.

By the way, even those of us who may not approve of Ducky's posting all the personal info in one spot--despite it ALL HAVING BEEN POSTED ON THE INTERNET, therefore merely being a copy/pasting of what's out there--should not be the norm. A simple name and pointers to let people do the googling themselves suffices. After all, anyone can do a google search and find out all sorts of things. Even I have put more out there than was wise cause, hey, I was trusting.

But then, I"m not supporting a dangerous WOE that has harmed various women...I just post too dang much.

So, please, Tippy and SingingLass, make your reports to the police and to homeland security. Open your email and phone records to them. You really should. At once. Please.

And make sure you know that false charges are also illegal.

I've personally notified MANY authorities over this, though not the police because I didn't really feel that it was a police matter, so if anything bad was really being done by any of the "anti- kimkiners" then I think they would have been notified and made to stop by now, and that hasn't happened.

Tippy Tries To Fight Back

This was found on The TRUTH Starts Here blog, comments from Saturday's post.

Re:Heads Up 1 Minute ago
I just have to say it is very bad out there. This has turned out to be a very active hate group. I see no difference in this hate as any other hate, be it for blacks, hispanics, against abortion or whatever. This hate group is snowballing into a larger group all of the time. Thier intimidation and scare tactis are not only unreasonable but quite illegal.

If you have been threatened or intimidated by this group please notify your local authorities and us. These are acts of terrorism.

If you see posts being copied and passed to other sites, please notify me.
Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable

This posted at KK from Tippy this morning.

First - exposing the truth of a fraudulent business (even though it's not technically a business) is NOT an "act of terrorism", nor is it illegal. It is not slander or libel because it is the TRUTH.

Tippy's threatening email to the LCF Admin Melly was illegal. You'd think she'd know the difference.

There is no "hate group". There are a LOT of people all working to get the scam of a website shut down to protect everyone from the dangers present in the diet plans as well as to protect others from giving their money to the scam artist known as Heidi Diaz.

Implying that we are a "hate group" also implies that there is a group of people we "hate". That is simply untrue. We do not hate anyone. We want Heidi Diaz to pay for her crimes and the KK website shut down. We do not even hate Heidi Diaz, we just want her brought to justice, as well as those who are aiding and abetting her.

Kimmer Admits She Lied

Well, not exactly "admitted" but, admitted by default, as it were. The KK website has undergone another transformation over the weekend and incriminating evidence has been removed. To us, this indicates and admission of guilt. Why would Heidi remove the Red Dress Woman if that really was her picture? Why would Heidi remove the statement that the diet was created by her after she lost 198 pounds in 11 months if it was true?

The pictures and the claims were simply lies and now they have been scrubbed from the website. What does this mean?

Heidi knows she is being scrutinized. Heidi knows she has to cover her ass quickly before someone actually does knock on her door. Heidi believes that she can re-write history and pretend those claims never happened.

She is being scrutinized. It's too late to cover her ass. She cannot re-write history, for we will not forget and all of the screen shots and records and server backups are already preserved.

It is almost amusing to note that despite her boastful claims that she is above the law, she continues to panic, lash out, and attempt to "clean" her website to hide the lies.

Too late, Heidi.
